

Peace on EarthSnow crunched softly under Axel's feet and his breath puffed out in front of him, trying to obscure the trail through the woods. It wasn't snowing now, but the late afternoon sky was gray and cold, promising a fresh layer of white by morning. For once, he was happy about it. He didn't have anywhere to go tomorrow indeed, few people would, on Christmas Day and the streets would be covered and pretty again.
